As sometimes happens to me to choose the shoes and then realize that they are not "perfect", and given that it sometimes bothers me particularly, I thought to write down some notes to keep in mind when the ' purchase. And it 'coming off a list more' long about what I expected. I try to share even if in itself 'the list seems a bit' obvious ...
Here's my "handbook" for the purchase of a pair of new shoes.
- measure : Pay particular attention to models that are not of its extent, but which seem to fit comfortably, may just be an impression
- color : Verify that appropriate use that will be 'made of shoe uppers
- : check that it is of high quality', soft and breathable
- length: if too short of course it hurts, but if too long can ' to other problems, how to make the shoes uncomfortable doing the stairs (you stumble), or to boredom while driving because 'fighting against the pedals or against the lower parts of the dashboard that can sometimes be "too" low
- width: must be adjusted to avoid "hemostatic", the foot should be able to detach themselves from the inside walls of the shoe but it should not not have too much freedom '
- sole : e' is preferable for the rubber, but that 'really matters' is that, if possible, do not make too much noise from the ground while walking (especially the heel) and it does not slip on smooth surfaces (otherwise there is a sensation similar to walking on ice).
- sockliner It should not be walking too smooth otherwise we slip back, especially if the length of the shoe is not 'perfect
- flexibility' : The shoe should be able to follow the foot while walking, Otherwise it happens that you raise your heel and the shoe remains in land and this leads to friction resulting in discomfort or pain and rapid wear of the shoe and socks
- plantar : if there 'must not be "cumbersome" and should not slip to the insole of the shoe otherwise than walking and moving you can '"arch" when its front is pushed back during the step and is also a wasted effort during walking
- neck It should not be too tight in' too hard it 'too high, otherwise both stationary and movement in the neck can 'knock, or put pressure on the area around the ankle pain or discomfort procuring
- laces : Make sure that you will be able to modulate the width of the shoe well and that you are able to put on and take off your shoes without necessarily having to unfasten, and 'preferable that laces are not "slippery", which otherwise can often loose socks
- : do the test with the type of shoes and socks that will 'really used, otherwise you could make mistakes in determining the correct measure of walking shoes
- : to ensure that the shoe is likely to be some steps paying particular attention :
- the flexibility 'of the shoe
- the soles grip the floor
- Internal slip on the sole of the shoe
- the neck of the shoe that does not beat around the instep
- price: the price must be trivially adapted to the quality 'of the shoe, if you decide to buy a pair of shoes even if do not fully meet the requirements set out above, at least the price should therefore be low
